  6. STORY
  7. Beautiful princess Yolanda has offened the Goddess
  8. Hera. Jealous of Yolandas beauty, Hera has placed a
  9. curse upon the princess. She has told Yolanda that any
  10. man she falls in love with will die horribly within a week
  11. of their meeting. The curse will be lifted only if Yolanda
  12. can re-enact the twelve labours of legendary Hercules.
  13. Distraught, and faced with a life of loneliness, Yolanda
  14. gathers her courage and sets out on the tasks, armed
  15. only with the advice given by the messenger god,
  16. Hermes. The solution to her task may not be obvious and
  17. there will be times when you will have to place your life
  18. in the hands of the Gods if success is to be yours!

  20. PLAYING THE GAME
  21. There are twelve tasks to complete and a trainer level.
  22. The player may have to play up to five screens to
  23. complete a task. The twelth task can only be played if
  24. you have completed the first eleven tasks.

  26. From the title attract sequence you may either:
  27.  
  28. Press 'T' to start on the trainer level. This option is
  29. recommended for beginners; or
  30. Press keys '1' or '2' to start either a one or two player
  31. game. You will then be asked which mode you wish to
  32. play in: wimp, hero, legend mode; or
  33. Press fire to play the game with the same setup as your
  34. last plyed game. If you have just loaded the game, the
  35. setup will default to a one player game in hero mode.
  36. Wimp mode - this mode gives Yolanda seven lives and
  37. gives her the same task to complete after losing a life.
  38. Hero mode - this mode gives Yolanda four lives and she
  39. must complete a random task after losing each life.
  40. Legend mode - this mode only gives Yolanda one life.

  42. A description appears before each task - press fire to
  43. skip this. The object of the game is to reach the picture in
  44. each screen. The picture will turn into a door after a few
  45. seconds if the screen that you are on leads onto another
  46. for disappearing platforms, falling ropes, fires, invisible
  47. platforms and many more diffrent traps. Good Luck!

  50. Use a joystick to control Yolanda.
